The suggester says; "This piece is amazing. It proves that you don't need much to tell a story. From the soft shading, to the border detail, it's a one of a kind deviation that really shows a sense of character. You instantly fall in love and want to know more about the two men and their story."

haha! They look like they're about to have a gentleman's duel.
Shout out to everyone and your wonderful feedback, faves and watches during my sluggery. I've been married to school and chained to the art table and the Evil Seattle-based coffee co. known as Starbucks.
You have all been too kind to me though! I really appreciate everything! Truly.
Penn's Woods is comming along well. It's looking like sometime in September that the first issue will be done for your viewing. Thank you for your support!
This is one of the splashes or promo arts, if you will, that will be included in the first issue. I really worked on my painty skills with this and hope I'm a far-cry better than my best '05 piece [link] wich I colored soley with a mouse! The little borders I got were public domain stuff.
Dover publishing has a bunch of this sort of thing.
In 1816 America, Tom Harrison, (on the left) the 49-year-old reclussive werewolf teams up with the 26-year-old lively, optimistic and abnormally brave minister, Roderick Parris, to disscover all the strange and paranormal mysteries that surround their small town of Constance, PA. (fictional town )
Although they are very different, they are very close and neigh inseperable. They do have one thing in common- Emily Harrison [link]
Tom is usually never seen without his clay pipe and Roderick is always gnawing on some kind of grass or wheat.
Penn's Woods Characters belong to me.

I love the dramatic feel of this picture! It looks very Gothic and moody, which I gather is the perfect feel for your supernatural story. I love the soft shading and thin, colored lineart too--they really add to make these look like 19th century portraits. I'm enjoying getting to learn more about your lovely characters!
